In Spring, 2009, I gave a presentation on the NIH SBIR program in Washington. This presentation is not quite as up-to-date, but has more material on Washington State, and is more oriented towards entrepreneurs: [PDF] [PPT]
A few years ago, I spoke at an "SBIR 101" breakfast organized by the Washington Technology Center. The topic was the Small Business Innovative Research grant program. My remarks focussed on the NIH program. In response to questions and requests from the audience, I have prepared a revised handout.
