I made this site with a text editor. Images were edited with Fireworks. For the site map, I modified Marcelino Martins' FolderTree.
My objective was a simple look, readable in a wide range of browser environments.
The appearance of words is not left to chance: fonts carry meaning, too. Still, readers can change font sizes as their desires or disabilities dictate.
Most pages have minimal scrolling at 800x600 resolution. This site is readable, but not optimal, on 256-color displays. Really, the only safe colors are black and white. Color problems are manageable, but the 216-color palette is no longer the only answer. I tried to avoid typical problems for colorblind viewers.
